I believe I have been more than patient with DOE personnel. I think I have had enough unanswered emails and unreturned calls. Time to start sharing my communication.

As per Chancellor’s Regulation A- 655, an SLT member may request a more detailed “SLT View of the Budget” twice asemesterand it should befurnishedwithin 5 days. Today is day 402.

Mr. Tragale,
402 days. That’s how long it’s been since I requested to see the 2011-2012 SLT view of the budget. I still have not received a copy. I was able to get my hands on a 2013 budget, with certain amounts cut off. I ask again for full SLT Views of the budgets from 2011-2013.

Please point me in the right direction. I’ve spoken to everyone from Principal Hill, the network leader, the budget representative, the cluster, FACE, the CEC, the DLT and even grieved it with the UFT.

Again Chancellor’s Regulation A-655 state it should be furnished in 5 school days and it has been 402. I think I have been more than patient.

I’m sorry to bother you, but I have spent a year attempting to obtain information about budget issues at my school. I have contacted everyone. Perhaps I should have started with you. I’m a parent, teacher and UFT Chapter Leader of IS 49 School community. I have been trying to see an SLT View of the Budget for almost a year. The principal, nor other officials will furnish it. That is a violation of CR A-655. Would I be able to obtain it from your office

Michael Tragale is the Chief Financial Officerand I thought I had to go straight to the top.
Note: I do not blame all members listed in these emails as I believe they are getting direction from DOE Legal. However, when push comes to shove, I hope the start naming names and are documenting everything.
